It is worth the trouble to try this using "nxrtf2", though.

That DLL has various fixes which may slip around a few of the Word bugs. It all depends how large the pics are; how large the docs are; and how large Word itself is.

In any event, the new export DLL offers more, better exports of pics. It's a nice change, and it does help with some things.
